Uses:
Lemongrass is used in herbal teas and other nonalcoholic beverages. The oil of Lemongrass is used in candy and baked goods, and also used as a topical treatment for athlete’s foot, ringworm, and muscle soreness. Oil from lemongrass is also widely used as a fragrance in perfumes and cosmetics, such as soaps and creams. Internally, Lemongrass is considered a carminative and insect repellent. Lemongrass is believed to have antimicrobial and antifungal properties and it acts as a central nervous system depressant.
